Wednesday, July 5
Dusk- Outdoor movie at Nokomis Memorial Park Soccer Fields-
Madagascar will be the featured presentation
Photo history of the City of Nokomis will be shown prior to the movie
Concession stand will be available
Families are encouraged to come early and enjoy the evening free of charge.
Thursday, July 6 (Nokomis City Park) Kick Off Celebration

Ministerial Alliance food tent and ice cream social
1:00 - 4:00 pm- Open House at Nokomis Post Office- special Sesquicentennial postmarks and cancellations
1:00 - 2:00 pm- Dedication of newly rebuilt pagoda with dignitaries, Rep. Gary Hannig and Sen. Deanna
Demuzio taking part with participation by the Nokomis Community Choir.
*Free birthday cake will be served in the food tent immediately following the dedication ceremony*

While you're in town, visit the Nokomis Memorabilia Museum located in the lobby of the Nokomis Savings
Bank- open daily 9 am - 4 pm. There will be an open house hosted by the Nokomis Historical Society at
the museum on Saturday, July 8, 9 am - noon. Refreshments will be served.

-- Carnival rides Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Last day to purchase reduced price tickets is Thursday,
July 6. Advanced tickets can be used at any time. Advance tickets are 30 tickets for $18.00. Otherwise
tickets are $1.75 per ticket. Family Pack of tickets can be purchased for the days of Homecoming for
$22.00 which includes 14 tickets. Advance carnival ride tickets are on sale now at local merchants.
