Nokomis currently has two car shows every year. One is held at the Dairy Queen and
the larger one, sponsored by Teresa’s Pizza and Cool 101.9 FM is held every year in
August at the historic Nokomis City Park.
How about a Summer Concert Series?
Come join us every other Sunday afternoon in July and August for our annual Downtown
Nokomis Summer Concert Series, held in the beautiful historic Fred B. Johnson/Nokomis
City Park in Downtown Nokomis. Events feature live entertainment, food, games, crafts
and much more. Let your eyes take in the beautifully restored historical park with the
stage - the two-story pagoda - as the centerpiece. Let your ears take in the wonderful
sounds of live music. This is an event for the entire family, so come on out, unwind and
enjoy Downtown Nokomis!
